Aggregated reviews with both user and editor reviews

With Google starting to use the mobile first index early next year and with many/most users for many of us are using mobile it would be great if there was couple of "space saving options", one of these could to only show the aggregated rating when there is more than one review. Currently, if there are one editor review and one user review the whole widget display 4 rating boxes, when it is only needs 2.

 

Another thing I have noticed is that when there are editor and user ratings, Google get confused and seem to not display reviews properly where this happening. Wouldn't it be better if there were one aggregated rating summary above both the user and editor ratings where the main schema markup is used? This would be useful for the users too as they see the summary from both sets of users?
