Best mailing list component

I have been trying to use ACYmailing with Jreviews with limited success. I want to include custom fields and discovered short codes but the code shows as text in ACYmailing even though I put them in modules within a single article.

 

Is there a better newsletter mailer for Jreviews or should I submit a support ticket?
