Upgrade listing would like listing pinned and highlighted

I have found that most people won't pay to add a listing so I offer a free plan and an upgrade.

 

The upgrade offers additional photos and the listing to be featured. The only problem is with featured you don't get a lot. A featured button at the top of the listing and that is about it.

 

I would like featured to be a different colour in listing categories and it would be great if they were pinned to the top of the category they are in.

 

Is this possible and anyway I could achieve it. I don't mind working through it if I get pointed in the right direction
