Enable module theme in site filters and applying custom filters

Hi there,

 

When I enable the module theme and add custom code (I grabbed from advanced search custom them section) then the new filters appear and work but there are two layout issues.

 

1) the attributes appear as horizontal links which looks messy (see attached image). I would like them to appear as a drop down. How do you do that?

 

2) by using the custom code you end up with a grey "Search" button rather than the nicely centred Orange "Update Results" button.

 

Is there a specific doc or section on working with the geomaps custom filters?
