New UserProfiles Add-on released!

We are very excited to announce the release of the latest addition to the JReviews add-ons suite, the UserProfiles Add-on. A powerful and easy to use user profile system for Joomla and WordPress. For complete details about the add-on, please visit the add-on product page.

 

 

The add-on is available for purchase right now from the Client Area. The add-on requires JReviews v2.6.7.1 so please make sure you upgrade JReviews first before installing the add-on.

It's important to note that the add-on is not meant to be a drop-in replacement for other community solutions because it does not offer features like an activity stream, status updates, groups, private messaging, etc. The add-on is going to be most useful for sites that want to have a more advanced user profile system than the one offered by Joomla or WordPress and take advantage of all the great features that regular JReviews listings have including compatibility with all the JReviews add-ons. For those of you who use other community extensions together with the Everywhere Add-on just to be able to add reviews to profiles, the UserProfile Add-on can satisfy both of these requirements for a lower price and less overhead to the site.

 

Another thing to point out is that since the add-on immediately offers the ability to review user profiles the Everywhere Add-on is no longer needed if you use the UserProfiles add-on.
