John Main Posted May 26, 2015 at 12:47 PM Share Posted May 26, 2015 at 12:47 PM (edited) Hello Alejandro and Kristian, I have a strange one here to report. In order to reduce load times of the landing page I made a GeoMaps module that uses the site visitor's IP to display listings in their proximity (instead of the 13k I was previously trying to load, which was a bit dumb of me). It works great and has solved load time problems. Good stuff there. However everyone that has tested for me is getting the results from my IP location, with a lovely map showing Cornwall, UK for everyone. I have a strong hunch that this may be due to caching on the site, but my understanding of how this works is limited. I am going to try and play around with it and see if I can fix it. I have removed the offline page now so you can see if you have relocated to Cornwall too. Regards, John Edit: Deleted stored cahce for Maps and turned off chaching - tester in different but still wrong place. Tested their IP address and location, and got Edinburgh, UK - however the geolocation showing London,UK. Edited May 26, 2015 at 01:03 PM by John Main Link to comment
