mainmenu - active item

hi, 

 

i'am trying to get a different styling to the current active menu on my site without any luck.

for example on your demo site: https://demo.jreviews.com/movies

how can i made some styling (color) changes to the "movies menu item"?

 

i have tested with this css code but nothing happens:

.menu-horizontal > li.active {
color:red!important;
}
