History

I have looked around for a way of translating Jreviews (fields- fields options - categories - directories titles etc) and from what I found there is nothing out there that will be at least 99% compatible with Jreviews. 

 

There's been a few discussion on the forum about this feature and extensions supporting Jreviews. 

Falang - no longer support Jreviews.

Gtranslate free - it works but there are translation accuracy issues as this is done automatically

 

I have given a try to Gtranslate enterprise version (nice guys,good support), but unfortunatelly it seems there are some issues that makes the listing form (when adding a new listing) impossible to translate at this point. 

 

For Jreviews users who never tried:

Jreviews uses __t("text to translate") method which I find it really good and simple to use. You just need to wrap your text like shown above and have your translation file ready. 

 

Is it working?

YES. I already translated the custom fields labels and the fields groups titles when adding a new listing, the directory title, and the breadcrumb. 

The problem is that not all of users can manage to find the exactly right code which outputs the text needed to be translated. 

 

Feature Request

Would you please consider adding this translation method to the Jreviews custom groups and fields, categories,directories in the Jreviews core?
