Showing the search results in Google maps as well as just as text?

Hi,

 

I thought it would be a great addition if is possible to show the search results not only in text but directly into Google Maps, where the visitor gets an overview of the different listings near his search and click through to the desired single listing page, ie to be able to keep the text results but also have a mashup of all listings on a map – similar to how yelp shows results.

 

If I were a visitor, I’d much rather look at a map to see what’s closest to me first, then view more details.
