Alexandre Emeriau Posted December 18, 2014 at 03:05 AM Share Posted December 18, 2014 at 03:05 AM Users can use the navigation system with the help of categories. They can also proceed with a global search. But with a directory containing a lot of data, it's not an easy task, that's why i suggest to improve the user experience by helping the user to be driven to the precise informations he is looking for instead of trolling through lots of listings to find what they want. A way for the users to express what they want and then have that information provided to them is to let them choose the field label and the search value they want for that label. Then they could add an additional criteria so another field label an the related search value. For example and about field labels, if i want to search a category "flowers" then say the next field is the city, then it should only display the cities that have flowers, and then if the next field is suburb, it should at least only display the suburbs in that city. If search values have been fullfilled for any of these 3 fields label, it allows to have even more precise results for the user. . Link to comment
