Send invoice to client after ordering

Hello,

 

One of my jReviews customers wishes the invoice would be generated upon completion of an order and mailed as an attachment (probably pdf) of the confirmation email directly to the client.

 

His clients are not very tech-savvy and it is too hard for them to log into the website, access the customer section and find the "my account" -> "my invoices" tab to get to their invoice, let alone print them out themselves (some may not have a printer readily attached to their browsing device).

 

It may be beyond the scope of the PaidListings extension to ask for such a functionality out of the box, but maybe you could give me some pointers as how this could be achieved? Joomla already has HTML to PDF libraries, so maybe calling the invoice function, rendering its output to PDF and attaching the result to the confirmation mail is not such a daunting task at all.
