Preload selected values in custom form for new review based on other reviews

I have some knowledge in development work (not particularly in joomla/jreviews), but I have been stuck at this for days now.

Really appreciate if anyone can shed some light here.

 

I am trying to set up a restaurant review website.

I have a review field called 'MustTryDish'. It is a checkbox field with autocomplete.

 

If a user opens a form to submit a new review for a particular restaurant, I want the form to preload this field with values selected from other reviews of this restaurant. For example, if many other people are saying in their reviews that 'black pepper crab' is good (by specifying so in this field), I want the review form to display a checkbox for this and also shows how many other people have voted for this.

 

I know I need to manipulate fields_controller.php file. But have been staring at it for days now.  :-\
