Expired date entered versus plan expiration

If I turn on allowing the user to enter an expiration date, can I assume the following?

 

1. If they enter an expiration date beyond the plan expiration date (90 days), then when the plan is due to expire (at 90 days), if they haven't renewed it, it will be unpublished.

 

2. If they enter an expiration date before the plan expiration date (say 2 weeks out on a 90 day plan), then when their two week expiration date hits, the listing will be unpublished.

 

2a. They will not receive any notifications of renewing an unpublished plan.
