Guiding on using Jquery scripts

I've finally enabled the ireview template on my site to get a cleaner, faster and most importantly less Jquery script conflict experience. I think it looks quite nice http://www.ibikeride.com/

 

I am looking for some guidance on how to set up the scripts elements of the template?

 

In jreviews config I can set Jquery and Jquery UI on and off and in the template you can pretty much do the same. which way round is best practice? Should they be both off in the Jreviews component config and both on in the ireviews template for example?
