BEST SYSTEM SETTINGS for GeomapsModule with very high number of markers?

Dear all,

 

having just moved to a dedicated server, we would like to establish a GEO-MAPS-MODULE page showing ALL our geocoded entries in a world-map view. These are 6,200 entries. Right now, we keep receiving a server error when doing that, it only works with a limit of 2,000 entries in the module settings, once we put in a higher number, it fails.

 

Question: what are the BEST PHP SETTINGS in order to get the maximum out of the geomaps module?

Does anybody have DIFFERENT experiences with such high marker numbers? If yes, what are your settings?

 

Here are our current settings and system parameters (please also let us know, should you see any settings which are sub-optimal):

 

PHP:

APC: enabled

Ioncube Loader: enabled

allow_url_fopen: on

memory_limit: 1024M

max_execution_time: 60

upload_max_filesize: 50M

max_file_uploads: 20

 

GEO-MODULE:

Normal mode

Results limit 6,500

Clustering min Markers 100

 

Server:

16GB RAM, 6TB Diskspace, i7 2600 Quadcore
