Steven Koontz Posted October 4, 2012 at 11:35 PM Share Posted October 4, 2012 at 11:35 PM The maps will not load when a listing is hit for a second time after Joomla cache is set to conservative caching in Global Configuration. I get an error like load geomaps is not a function or something like that. I have tried with compression off, JReviews cache all off, all modules set to no cache in JReviews options and No Caching in Advanced Options. Basically, I have tried every iteration of every combination possible. The problem is isolated to maps on listing detail pages. List page scrolling map is OK. So I suspect the com_content cache is responsible for breaking the maps. Is anyone using Joomla Conservative Caching successfully along with the Geomaps Addon? My server is fast enough to keep all caching off, but the problem is my wunderground API for RokWeather. The limits are very low and I am exceeding them, so I need to cache the module. But to do that I need to set Joomla caching ON site-wide, and the ONLY thing that doesn't work with Joomla cache is JReviews Geomaps. Joomla cache plugin is OFF (I never use it - it's a headache no matter from which angle you look at it). Joomla 2.5.7 Jreviews 2.3.19.213 I appreciate any insight and success/fail stories regarding Conservative Caching + JReviews. :) Link to comment
