P Gales Posted June 13, 2012 at 03:51 PM Share Posted June 13, 2012 at 03:51 PM Major buttons like Add Review, Claim this Listing, Send Inquiry should be visible at all times to a user who is scrolling down through a listing and it's reviews. Problem: First time users can't easily find an important button like "Add new review". The button is very subtle and blends in with the surrounding text, plus it is at one static position under the listing and above reviews. Given that their are other buttons at the top of the page, and if maps are enabled, we really make it difficult for people to find this button. Solution: Freeze major buttons on top of page like you can freeze the top row of an excel spreadsheet This will greatly enhance the user experience so that a new user who is unfamiliar with the site and where buttons are, never has to work—which he has to do now to some extent—to find the buttons he needs to perform these common actions. Having the top row (which I've seen a screenshot of) of buttons docked or frozen so that they remain on the top while a user scrolls down would be a major enhancement. OR you could have the buttons float down the side as a user scrolls (but this takes up more realestate so I'm not a big fan of this option). Link to comment
