New field type: "user"

I have a use case whereby I want to assign a 'manager' to region. Different people are being hired as territory managers, so to speak. I would like the manager to be associated with a listing, such that when they click on that person's name, it goes that user's profile. From there, they can contact that manager as desired. In my case, it would be a JomSocial profile.
