Get coordinates from related listing

Hi,

this is my first post. Thanks for your component. I like it so much.

 

Now I have a problem.

I have a listing type "School" that I can set it to map with longtidute-latitude values.

 

Additionally I have the listing type "Course". Any "Course" belongs to one "School". I use related items and it works.

So I need to use the school long-lat values to show the cources on my map. I need to store the long-lat values of selected school to long-lat values of the course. I do not would like to store the long-lat values of course again when I have already store these values on the related school.

 

I have read something about custom calculation fields http://www.reviewsforjoomla.com/forum/index.php?topic=12309.0 but I have not resolve this issue.

 

Please some help.
