Right now, JReviews allow guests to post a review where they type in their own email address, but there is no way to verify whether the email address is valid. If you need to make sure they are using a valid email, you can turn off guest review and force users to register and sign in before writing a review. Neither approach is ideal. A better approach in my mind is if a guest user can write a review without having to register or sign in. Upon submitting the review, they will get an email at the email address that they entered. They must click on the link in the email before the review will be displayed. This is probably the best compromise between lowering the bar for users to write reviews and making sure the user is leaving a valid email. Would you please consider this feature in the near future?
