Invoice Numbers

We just realised that the invoice numbers are a big problem to us. In Germany you are required to have succsessive invoice numbers. We do not only sell listings but also advertisement-spaces on our site for which we need to write incoices too. Since paidlisting is using numbers from 1-xxxx we cannot keep up the successive invoice system.

Is there any way to change the invoice number to something like that 20110602-01 where 20110602 is the date of the day the purchase was made and -01 being the successive number of invoices for that specific day. So if you sold 3 paid listings on that day you would get the invoicce numbers 20110602-01, 20110602-02 and 02110602-03. And the next invoice on the next day would then look like this: 20110603-01

That way, if we would sell an advertisement space on 02.06.2011 we could write another invoice with the number 20110602-04 and there would be no problems with the tax authorities.

That would be really useful and important...

Appart from that it would make things easier if there would only be invoices for real paid listings (not those that are free or not completed), but that's somethig we can cope with. Changing the invoice numbers to the format described above would be just great...
