How to initiate search url from another site?

I'm working on updating a sister site (Joomla). On that site, I want to have a module that allows a user to enter a location (zip: city, state, zip -- just like my advanced search module on my main jReviews site) and get a properly formatted URL as a link which will throw them over to the jReviews site:

 

I have an RSS feed being displayed in the module above for 'Online listings' of a product type. For the other category of local sources of this product type, this is where I want the input form.

 

So, I NEED this URL:

http://www.guineapigzone.com/supplies/coroplast-listings/search-results_m227/query:all/jr_radius:50/jr_zip:94404/jr_latitude:37.5549479/jr_longitude:-122.2710602/order:distance

 

How do I get the lat and long determined in order to get the link properly formatted, such that the user sees a list of entries near them?

 

I'd also like to be able to offer this as something that others can imbed on their sites as well.
