Slideshow layout for the listings module

Hey there..

 

Since I drug my brain with Jreviews day after day, today's news, RC1, already made me start drooling..:)

Back to the subject, as far as I understand the new upcoming features of slideshow module is a make up of existed listing module..For that reason, I would like to recomend some other needs for the module and more novice friendly..

 

-Clear html tags for summary..

Suppose, I made a modification to show summary but that article has special html tags..Then, the listing module shows that listings with that html tags aqnd it kills your layout..

 

-Thumbnail height..

That is a big issue for the layout also..Why not we have a selection for the height? I know we dont want to thunb looks all squeezed but if we choose crop shouldn't it apply what we want?

 

-Able to choose show/hide category..

-Able to choose number of main image based on 2,3 or 4 image..

-Able to show listings number of thumbs beside main one..

-Able to trim title chars length..

-Able to show fields label and value also positioning like left\right\above\below of main image..

 

Also, why not make us more humble by allowing us to put round border corners to image with just one click.. :)

 

Alejandro, I remember your complaints when you try to integrate jreviews with gk4 news module..I know you value your time very much but it is business too..Since you can fetch the images from non-jreviews articles with listing module, why not make this module with free of charge..As you are aware of the need that kind of module in joomla market, you can put more values to your jreviews brand..
