Steve Carter Posted March 1, 2011 at 02:28 PM Share Posted March 1, 2011 at 02:28 PM Hi, It would be a good idea if categories could have multiple Listing Types. I am working on a city guide and the rating criteria for each category (hotel, restaurant, etc.) will vary from category to category. However, there is an commonly used standard called RATER (Reliability, Assurance, Tangibles, Empathy, Responsiveness) which is applicable almost across the board. So, if you could create an additional Listing Type which would measure these aspects (or anything that the admin defined) along with the Listing Type that is specific to that category, this would allow you to get a score that could be used to compare between categories. Being an additional Listing Type would also mean that I can include it if I desired (make it an option) rather than have to add it into the category Listing Type, and would also make for a cleaner database design.
