Mark1 Posted February 5, 2011 at 09:12 AM Share Posted February 5, 2011 at 09:12 AM I need to find the best way to have Listing Plan A have the ability to enter a numerical value into table field jr_example, but limit that value to a maximum 100. Listing Plan B will have the ability to enter a numerical value into the same field jr_example, but be able to enter a value of up to 500. What is the best way to achieve this? I have thought about creating two drop-down fields (prefered to text entry), one allowing a value up to 100 to be picked and assigning that to Plan A. This would be hidden in Plan B. I would then create an identical drop-down in Plan B, with values up to 500. This would be hidden in Plan A. Both drop-downs would populate the same jr_example field. Would my suggestion work, or do you have any other ideas? Many thanks in advance. Link to comment
