integrating xml feeds into JR

Its great to be able to feed OUT via rss.

 

But I have a desire to take some generic xml IN which would be a list of products say from an affiliate website, these are hopefully not changing in format over a period of reasonable time.

 

If those feeds or products could be imported or dynamic assigned an id then could be reviewed it would be awesome.

 

What are the steps needed in order for this to happen ? I can think of a few challenges to this synchronising nightmare.

 

So I know there is a csv import is there some way I could take the xml feeds and get those things into my system ?
