Dear Jreview-Experts,

This is my problem:

1. Map of Europe with many listing markers as startpage of my website

My entry page is a map of europe which I load inside the content section of a Joomla article, which has only following content: "{loadposition cc_geomap}"

I have a module with the type "mod_jreviews_geomaps" which is configured to be in the Joomla position "cc_geomaps". That is the trick to get the map displayed in the content of the Joomla article. In the configuration of that module, I have set the parameters for displaying the map section of Europe.

In the map, there are many Jreview markers with listing pages behind them.

2. Visitors drill into the map

Visitors drill down into the map, e.g. to zoom into Palma de Mallorca, a city on the Islas Baleares. Now they see markers within the city, which mark restaurants in that city. By clicking on a marker, they get a small Jreviews popup of that specific restaurant.

By clicking on the description of the popup, the listing page of a specific restaurant is displayed. So far so good.

3. Pressing PAGE-BACK they do not come back to their previous map section

After reading the details of the listing, by just clicking the PAGE-BACK button of the browser (e.g. Firefox), they come back to the European map described in point 1.

PROBLEM: after the listing page, by clicking PAGE-BACK they want to come back to the previous map section/location, in our example Palma de Mallorca, to study more restaurants in that city. BUT: by pressing the PAGE-BACK button of the browser, of course, the full map of Europa is displayed.

QUESTION: how to implement in Jrevies & Joomla the feature, that by clicking the PAGE-BACK button of the browser, the get back to the same map section where they came from? I fully understand, that in my implementation this cannot be the case. The question is, how to do it better, which might be a complete different approach.

Please help.

Many thanks beforehand for your appreciated advice!

Chris CC.
