Geotargetting jreviews listings

Apologies if this question has been answered elsewhere - I had a search for a while but didn't come up with the solution.

 

I currently use jreviews, but not geomaps. What I need to do is control what listings are shown to a user depending on their country - this is for legal reasons and so a listing could be seen by all countries bar 1, or visa versa. I have a field that is for "accepted countries" that users can search with themselves, but ideally I need this to be automatic.

 

Is this something that geomaps could be used for? If not, are there any other solutions?

 

My only idea was to have a hidden field for the country and then use a geotargetting plug in for joomla to select the appropriate text. Would this work?
