Groove Posted August 24, 2010 at 04:37 PM Share Posted August 24, 2010 at 04:37 PM Hi Alejandro I'm guessing you're still reluctant to comment on anything related to Joomla 1.6. However, this question relates to a major project that can be implemented or NOT, based on the successful use of ACL. And I need to tell a potential investor and development partner ASAP whether I can achieve my goal. I'm hoping that when Joomla 1.6 is released, and Jreviews is made compatible with it, that it will be possible to specify an ACL group when submitting new listings (eg via a selection box). That way, the submitter would be able to specify which group/s can view the submission. In my case, the submission would contain an attachment containing educational content that can be shared, or not shared, between schools (each with its own ACL group) that are using the site. If this is not something you'd be prepared to implement as an official feature, do you think that it would be difficult for me (or more accurately a programmer on my behalf) to achieve this goal with some hacking? Thanks in advance for your advice! Link to comment
