pabalosa1 Posted June 5, 2010 at 06:36 PM Share Posted June 5, 2010 at 06:36 PM hi I'm obviously not setting this up right, though some of it is working fine. I'm confused as to how to set up custom fields that geomaps references, across all my listing types. That is, I can create a listing ( eg address, city, state etc ), and for each listing it's required to be a unique title. Having only set up one directory with listings, the geomaps' autogeocoding /mapping has been working fine. A different directory however has listings with unique / different custom fields for address / city / state etc - but in the geomaps config under 'basic setup/address fields', I am only able to enter one specific custom field name per input box eg 'Address field 1 : jr_marketstreet' , which is the field I have for my 'farmers' markets' listings. The custom field name for the street address I have for the new directory is jr_fsstreetaddress - but it appears this is not detected by the auto geocoding ( I understand it's suppose to concatenate the all the fields etc ). How does geomaps detect it if the field names are different to what it's expecting to see ? How do I set this up so I have the rightly named fields in the right places for geompas to detect all the location custom fields across all listings ? I obviously don't have my mind around how this works yet... Let me know if this isn't clear enough ( I can understand that it might not be ). Thanks, P Link to comment
