multilanguage setup

does any one have a running multilinguale setup with jreviews (joomla or wordpress)?
if so how did you manage that?
for the start i need that the articles/posts can be translated and the language SEO urls are working with correct "hreflang" tag. custom fields would be nice but not that important for the moment.
