SobiPro to Joomla Jreviews Migration - Joomla to Wordpress

Hi there,

 

I am currently looking to gather some quotes for the following project.  Please review the full requirements below before offering your services.  If this is something you feel you can do, let me know your contact info and I'll be in touch very shortly.

 

Summary

 

I am looking to have all listings (listing, content, ratings and reviews etc.) migrated from SobiPro to Jreviews and then for Jreviews to be converted/transferred to Wordpress.

 

All Joomla site members must also be transferred over to Wordpress and migrated into BuddyPress which is to take over the handling of profiles from the current profile system in use (EasySocial).

 

I am looking to leave Joomla entirely and switch to Wordpress, Jreviews and BuddyPress.

 

Project Brief

 

I currently own and operate a fairly large Joomla website that runs the following components

 

• SobiPro
• EasySocial
• EasyDiscuss
• sh404sef

 

I am looking to migrate from SobiPro to Jreviews Wordpress.

 

There are:

 

1)  Approximately 9000 members

2)  Approximately 4000 SobiPro Listings

3)  Several Thousand Ratings and Reviews on the listings

 

The end result of the migration must result in the following:

 

1)  For all SobiPro listings to be migrated to Jreviews Wordpress.

 

This must include

• All Listing Information - listing name, address info, photographs, google map and so on.
• User ratings and reviews must be maintained.
• The URL structure of the SobiPro directory must either remain intact or a redirect solution for each and every listing page implemented.

 

2)  For all members to be migrated from EasySocial to BuddyPress and for BuddyPress to be set up to work with Jreviews.

 

Currently EasySocial handles the profiles.  I am not too concerned about the profile data but what is important is that the "link" between each user and their reviews on SobiPro is maintained (I.E.  A user who has posted a review on a SobiPro listing has their username linked back to their profile - Their avatar from their profile is shown next to their reviews etc.)

 

3)  For the SEF URL's currently in use on the Joomla site and in use by SobiPro to either be replicated or a solution implemented to redirect from old URL to new.

 

Currently, sh404sef converts to Joomla/SobiPro URL's to SEF URL's.  A solution will need to be implemented that will ensure there are no (or very few) broken URL's after the migration is completed.

The content present on each SobiPro listing is fairly basic.  It is the name of the place, a description, address and telephone/contact info and a google map generated from the address info.

 

There are no custom fields in use or anything like that, that I am aware of.

 

Regarding the forum - If the option to migrate the forum to an equivalent  Wordpress forum (such as bbpress) is available then I am happy to hear of options there, but it isn't too important.  The most important aspect is a flawless migration from SobiPro to Jreviews (Wordpress) and User accounts to BuddyPress.
