JReviews Notification System

Thank you for taking a moment to read this.

 

My team and I have been working on a new Addon for JReviews that acts as a notification system in JReviews. The system is built to allow your website guest the ability to create unique notification request in JReviews based on listing criteria they choose. In addition they are able to choose the notification frequency and notification types. Here is a list of the available features and a video of it in preliminary form. If you have any input for features that are not currently included please comment below. In addition if this is something you would consider for your own site please let us know.

 

Admin Features:

- Admin Can choose what fields are available to the users on the frontend

- Admin Can choose the Notification/Integration types available (ie. EasySocial, JomSocial, Email)

- Admin Can create multiple menu items and multiple notification systems for each directory

 

User Features:

- User Can create multiple notifications within the same directory or other directories

- User Can Edit or Delete Notifications after having been create

- User Can select if ALL/ANY matching results should be reported

- User Can select the preferred method of Notification (ie. EasySocial PM, JomSocial PM, Email)

- User Can select the preferred frequency of Notification (ie. Daily, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly)

- User Can choose the number of results in the notification (with link to ALL)

 

Emails and Notifications sent will be HTML based with a link to change the notification preferences (similar to Unsubscribe).

 

The system will likely run on CRON but we are contemplating using a System Plugin to process the emails. We think CRON would be ideal.

Please understand that these videos are not complete and we are still working on the product. your input is valuable but not every feature request will be considered. If you would like this as a solution for your site we will like charge a support subscription so that we can continue to improve on it, add additional features and fix any bugs that may arise.
