Paul Carter Posted January 23, 2012 at 12:28 PM Share Posted January 23, 2012 at 12:28 PM I know from past experience that analytics code went at the bottom of the page immediately before the </body> tag, as the IReview template does for you too. Was just looking at my anaytics data and noticed there was no visits tracked for the last week. Looked deeper into it and it seems Google now say they want the tracking code immediately before the </head> tag instead. Analytics was reporting no tracking code installed. I moved the code to the bottom of the <head> instead of the <body> section and now analytics says it's tracking and working ok. Not sure how recent this change is, but thought you might like to investigate and change your template if necessary. Link to comment
