Upgrade (downgrade) not working changing featured listing to standard listing

Hello,

 

I have set up listings plans, both featured and standard, that are a one time payment and never expire, for which users are given a 100% free coupon. These listings will be removed after a period of time unless the users upgrade.

 

I have associated both featured and standard upgrades with these same listings.

 

When a customer initially selects a featured one time payment that never expires, and then "upgrades" to a standard listing, the featured icon and all the fields that are in the featured listing, but not in the standard listings remain. Therefore, they are paying the price of a standard listing, but getting a featured listing.

 

Is there anything I can do so that when they select "standard" upgrade it will change the listing from featured to standard?
