My two modules stopped loading markers

Hi, I have two maps modules that all of a sudden stopped loading markers. I get a 403 error in the console trying to load the ajax map payload. The listing page map and detail page map works fine, it's just these two modules that are having problems.

I have been doing some software updates, but I am 90% sure this happened when I just updated Vivaz template from 2.1.0 (I think) to 2.2.3. Other extensions recently updated were Regular Labs DBReplacer, CDN, and Sourcerer as well as Akeeba Admin Tools and Akeeba Backup. And besides JReviews those are the only extensions I have.

Note that I am on JReviews 4.6.0 ( getting ready to update to 5) and Joomla 4.4.13 (getting ready to update to 5).

I am planning on upgrading to JReviews 5 within the next 48 hours so if that is a probable fix then I'll just wait until I get that done.

Turn off some field selections in the Map Pro Addon pulldown menu?

Are there settings to turn off or hide feilds that are in the Map Pro addon? I could not find these controls.
I don't use ratings on my site, and I do not need users to select order options that have reviews/ratings.
Otherwise is there an option to turn off the entire Order By feature on that page?

Hello,

I have successfully created Listings, Field Groups, Directories, Listing Types, and so on, and populated them with listings. Everything worked perfectly. I was also able to add the Maps Addon to the corresponding fields.

Now, I would like to create a second Listing Type with a different Directory, different fields, and different Field Groups. How can I also operate Maps with the second Listing Type?

I hope I was able to express myself clearly. I am grateful for any help.

Specifiying whether mobile/desktop map is used

I have a number of pages where I'm using maps pro like the bottom of this one:

What I've noticed is that sometimes on desktop, the mobile version of the map is shown instead. I.e. the version that doesn't have the sidebar and the info window slides up from the bottom. I'm not sure if it's a caching issue or not, but what actually controls which version of the map appears? I'm wondering if I can tweak the rules at all.

MapsPro - i get "The following fields don't exist yet: 0"

i get "You need to create the fields in the JReviews manager. The following fields don't exist yet: 0".. the map is showing now but every time i have to click on "show map" to have a clear sight on it. thats stupid. ;-)

Maps Pro Module

My maps pro module at the top of the linked page is not displaying the correct listings that are showing below the map.

I've tried everything that I know of and the listings and the map don't match up. I have attached the settings I am using from the module and menu

Maps Pro Menu Item

I used a Maps Pro menu item for a search of listings based on the visitor's IP address.

The menu item pulls the correct information based on how many records to map and also the radius from the visitor. However, when you click a map marker, I would expect the result to be loading the record clicked. But instead it loads a bunch of other records farther away than 50 miles radius of anything and the clicked marker record isn't the first selection anyway.

I would like to simply click the marker on the map and go directly to the listing.

How can I achieve this?

Center of the United States

I have a map that displays under each category of directory listings. I want the map on each page to display to the center of the United States. In each module I set up, I used the setting under "Pre-defined filters" as Custom Setting & Radius. From there, I have entered in the coordinates of 41.49549157648174, -99.82540296709224 into their fields.

No matter what I do, I get the same results and the map is not showing the center of the US.

I'm using the open street maps. What am I doing wrong, it seems so simple.

Mapbox not displaying

I've been looking at trialing mapbox - but when I change over to it, I just get a blank map, as you can see on this page:

I don't get the same problem when switching to either openstreetmap or google. Can you think of a reason this might be happening? Just wondering if I've missed something (I have added in the access token).

Is the actual Location Search just possible with MapsPro?

Driving Directions

I was looking at the Google Driving Directions API and it appears one needs to pay for the service after a 3-month period. Is that correct?

I also see that MapBox has a similar service but I don't see that as an option in the Maps Pro app. Any chance that will be added?

Anyway, I don't have the API for the Google Driving directions, but JReviews still shows the "Get Directions" button on the detail page.

Is there a setting to disable that button or should I hide it with CSS?

Lost on the Maps

I'm going to kick myself if I overlooked something. I've tried looking at every setting to get the maps to display on the relevant category listing pages and detail pages with no success.

Here's what I have done:

For relevant listing types >Configuration>Maps Integration "Show map in detail/list pages, both set to yes.
Switched back to the default detail.thtml page template (copyright 2010-2018)?
Category layout set to Global Default (vertical masonry), tried others to no avail
Went screen by screen comparing settings to demo and matched them where relevant
Reinstalled jreviews
Changed Site theme to Default (jreviews)
Google Maps (Maps Pro) Is working in admin area
Verified listing have lat/long values
No errors in Dev Console
Cleared cached several times

Is there something else that I may be overlooking that wold keep the map(s) from loading on both the detail and list pages.

Just ran into this problem . . .

All of a sudden super users are the only ones that can see the map on a detail page. Before, I had it setup to where all access levels could see the map in a detail page.

Where did I mess up the access settings, I don't see where I can change the access setting for this so I can correct it.

Google maps not working on static map

I'm having trouble making the map to show properly if I use Google. If I use either of the other choices it works fine. Google does work fine on the details page. Any Clues? I have attached an image of what it looks like.

Custom fields on mapspro sidebar conditional display

I have followed the instructions found here: https://www.jreviews.com/docs/mapspro/customizations for inserting custom fields into the sidebar cards on my MapsPro pages. I have replaced line 72 on the map-json.thtml (both on core and override just to be sure) with the exact example given. I have also replaced the custom fields display with the custom field example given, replacing only the field name. I have found that, if the field being called is a is already listed in the maps pro configuration custom fields list, it displays just fine. However, it must be added to that config field to work. While this does work if want to customize the layout of each field, I am stuck on how to write a conditional display. I am trying to find a way to add an availability banner on each listing tile on the sidebar that will display if the field value for "jr_availabilitystatus" is equal to "available-now". Any ideas?

Maps Pro Module

I have been using maps pro with openstreetmap setting with no issue and then as of yesterday, when the map module loads it will show a progress bar stating "adding markers to map" but then as it looks like its almost complete it hangs and no markers are loaded. I have the map sidebar working fine with markers as normal.

What could have changed with the mapspro module? or could it be something else?

Maps Pro - not showing "Show Map" button to public users

If a registered user views any of our detail pages, they will be shown the "Show Map" button. But I noticed that public users are not being shown that button.

I have the "Show Map" button enabled for all possible page types allowed per the Maps Pro configuration option shown in the image below.

Is there some kind of ACL override elsewhere that I'm not finding?

Using mapspro and in the submission for I have created there is two buttons that I need to change the labels on and I don't see anywhere to do this, so it must be located in a file somewhere, I need to know which one. See picture.

listing detail view // show nearby listings from a listing on same map

the use-case is to show beside an active mapmarker from a listing nearby listings on the same map.
i did some tests with the MapsPro module: i have deactivated the map in the detail view and placed the module on a theme position. what i can setup is that the module is showing the marker of the detail listing in the center of the map. but i see no option to show within nearby listings, or did I miss something.
Alejandro, is there a way to archive this?

MapsPro Widget Category Filter

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. Firstly I'm using the Wordpress version of JReviews. I'm using Elementor for archive layouts and I've added a section using the MapsPro Widget. I want to filter the results for a particular category but the map is showing the entire directory. Am I missing a particular setting? I've attached a screenshot of my Elementor editing window.

Mapspro: Mapbox - Raster Tiles vs. Legacy Static Images

Using Mapbox, we see that they currently have the following free limits:

Raster Tiles API - 750,000 free tile requests (Is that a single map or bits of a map?)

Legacy Static Images API - 50,000 free requests

Once enabled, we ran up the legacy static images count quite quickly and so have temporarily limited where maps are shown.

I assume that static means exactly that: the maps that are shown in place of a cover image on a listing. So Raster Tiles would then be the maps utilized with icons.

So is it possible to use the raster tiles in place of a static map (or do I have my terms backwards) in order to utilize the much higher quota for raster tiles?

MapsPro - Show Static Map as Header Cover (not displaying)

After setting up an account with MapBox, I've just upgraded from GeoMaps to MapsPro.

The maps show fine everywhere I've tested except as a Header Cover.

In the Header Cover, they are not displaying but instead shows a "missing image" icon in the top left corner as per the attached image.

If I use my browser inspection mode, I see a link like

 src="https://api.tiles.mapbox.com/v4/mapbox.streets/url-http ... (our domain + key, etc)... loading="lazy">

After doing the migration, I deleted GeoMaps and I've cleared the cache numerous times.

Any ideas what I might have missed?

Calendar related listings MapsPro

Hi,

I have Jreviews v3.6.5.1 with WordPress 5.3.2

I would like to display events from the current month in a MapsPro page. And the abilitie to see other months. The events should be listed but on the map it should show the related listings location.

How can I get that to work?
