I was exploring myLists addon and wondering how to use default site lists, it seems that theur are public and all users can check listings being added to lists. Right ? whats the diffrerence with user lists ?

it works, but nobody can see their lists because it runs in a 404 Error.

By click on "My Lists" the error occures.

Is this a known error or should I open a ticket?

Our site could be dealing with hundreds or thousands of lists generated with the My Lists addon. Is there a more efficient way of adding listings to lists other than selecting the "Add to List" dropdown? 

Also, due to the amount of lists we'll be using, this could get very long-winded having to scroll down the page to select the appropriate lists. 

Is there any way to search for the list rather than simply selecting it?

I think the only thing I need - is the 'id' of the list currently open ... everything else is quite simple.

I have pages that are blogs from trips that are connected to a user list that has the locations of that trip.

I thought it might look nice with a widget in there with the connected list instead of just a link to it ?

I'm trying to use the site list widget on the listing detail page.

I can see that is shows how many users added the listing to each site list.

Is there a way to show the avatar of the user that added that listing on the list?

here is the problem, i have to filter the listings in the lists according to the listing type at the migration.
has anyone done this before?
or rather the question to Alejandro, would it be technically possible to tell which listing will be added to which list during the migration?

I don't have this issue with JR 2.

I've also noticed that $columnFields is used but the comments as seen in listings/listings_tableview explaining how to use it are missing, which is helpful.

The non-SEF URL looks like this and produces a 'No lists were found' message on the next page:

If I remove the last argument it appears to work fine. I looks like I made this change over a year ago in my custom template and forgot to mention it.

If we could have the Controlled By/Control Field/Control Value on Lists, it would be amazing.

So we could have MyList Lists based not only on listing type but also on custom fields like location, virtual-categories, etc.

This could make the add-on much more flexible, the level of control would be really great.

Will it be possible to display lists as links or buttons, not as dropdown list?

I want to create something like "I was there", "I want to go there" on my travel site. And I want them just show somewhere without any dropdown.

On my new project, users can create their recommendation lists, but I feel like the MyList Add-on is lacking some important features, and the workaround of this topic, using the regular listing as list, kind of makes it happen.

Good features on the Add-on solution that I can't have with the "listing workaround":

• The dropdown button "Add to list" on the listing detail page and list page
• Use the cover of the listing added to the List, don't need to upload a image

Features I need, present on the "listing workaround" but missing on the Add-on:

• SEO URL based on the list name
• Users can review and comment the list
• Can be shown in listing modules like "Best rated lists", "Most popular lists".
• Can "sort of" change the order of the items on the list, so can build ordered or ranked TOP 10 Lists of items, using custom fields

Because there's a JReviews app on the way, I would like to know what's the best way to proceed to get the best of the features and functionalities.

If these requested features, like review and comment, or items order, are planned to the Addon, should I wait?

If not, is it possible to maybe create the add-on features (dropdown button "Add to list", use list cover) using regular listings to build lists?

I'm worried to lose customization on the mobile app.

It would be great to allow Lists' owner not just add listings to his List, but also allow him to reorder listings in this list.

For example create, not just "Watched movies" but also "TOP Watched movies"; manualy put best movies to the top of the list, worst - to the end.

Are you consider in the future allow users co comment/discuss user's list's?

Or, may be make List =equal Joomla article to allow webmaster use any 3-party component (komento, for example) to comment it?

I note when on mobile I get a swirling bar of death when I click  "Add to List" in the toolbar on a listing. If you eventually click the swirling bar it opens up the options (users wouldn't know this though). Also the options are at the top of the page. Wondering if this something to do with the ireview3 template set up. Using a safari and chrome browser on an iphone. 

Doesn't happen on desktop.
